In 2021 I was invited by Studio Ganek in partnership with the City of Lyon to participate in À ciel ouvert, an open-air exhibition of 20 artists from Lyon taking over the city's billboards with original artworks.

Still Life, is a 3D scan of a stromatolite — a bacterial rock formation that preserves some of the oldest fossilized life on Earth. Borrowed from a CNRS collection in Lyon, where several of these specimens are archived, the specimen is held in my hand, in a gesture linking ancient microbial life to the human body through contemporary imaging technology.

À ciel ouvert is a project by Studio Ganek for the City of Lyon, in partnership with JCDecaux.
