Émilien Adage graduated with an art degree (DNSEP) from the École d’art d’Annecy. His work has been the subject of several solo and group exhibitions in various cultural institutions (La Halle, Pont-en-Royans; Villa du Parc, Annemasse; Villa Arson, Nice; Centre d’art Bastille, Grenoble; Galerie Tator, Lyon; Mains d’Œuvres, Saint-Ouen; Flaine Art Centre, etc.).
He also serves as a co-curator and associate art director for the Solarium Tournant group, which he cofounded with Anthony Lenoir, and which organises artist residencies and exhibitions with the aim of fostering a conversation between historical heritage and contemporary art. He also cofounded the object/furniture company Chezelmut and the collaborative project Société Véranda with Florian de la Salle.
