Spelunkers
Spelunkers, 2016
Spelunkers is a testimony to three moments in the life of the Chauvet-Pont-d’Arc cave—prehistory, the past and the present. Two non-fictional publications recount diverse discourse spanning these three moments in time.
The term Spelunker sounds like the noise a pebble makes when dropped down into a deep, dark hole, but there’s nothing obscure about this term’s etymology. Spelunker means getting to the bottom of things, it means caver, explorer of the unknown.
