Buildings is a methodical work started in 2008 in Beijing, just before the Olympics, when the government and the municipality launched a major campaign of demolition and renovation of these standardized buildings. Built between the 1960s and the 1980s, they are emblematic of the Chinese urban landscape but also of the whole of the former Eastern Bloc.
